Want to discover one of the most beautiful hiking routes in Vienna while meeting other exchange students? 🌿

Join us for the famous Stadtwanderweg 1 - Kahlenberg!
This hike takes us through vineyards, forest trails, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking Vienna and the Danube. It’s one of the classic Vienna experiences that many locals love!

🥾 Route: Stadtwanderweg 1- Kahlenberg
📍 Start & finish: Tram D, final stop “Nußdorf”
📏 Distance: 11 km
⏰ Hiking time: around ~4 hours

Along the way we’ll pass:
• beautiful wine hills and forest paths
• the famous Kahlenberg viewpoint
• the Stephaniewarte observation tower with an amazing view over Vienna
• traditional Viennese Heurige and small cafés

✨ Bonus tip:
Vienna has a special “Wanderpass” system for the city hiking trails. If you print your Wanderpass in advance, you can collect stamps during the hike and later receive hiking badges/rewards at the Rathaus! This hike is one of the 12 official Vienna city hikes, so after this event you can continue exploring the others too.
